Macro spider Tegenaria parietina Tegenaria duellica

Macro spider Eratigena atrica
This is a big 'house spider' (probably a Eratigena atrica).
It ran into my house on a early Autumn morning. Just what I needed to play with my macro lens!
This beauty regained it's freedom after the photo session.

Macro zilvervisje papiervis gray silverfish Ctenolepisma longicaudata
I am not particularly fond of these 'gray silverfish' (Ctenolepisma longicaudata, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (Dutch)).
They eat my books!

Macro Trilspin Pholcus phalangioides Vibrating spider cellar daddy long legs
Negative image of a vibrating spider (Pholcus phalangioides)
They are all over my house! And they make quite a mess ...

Macro Garden Spider Araneus diadematus
OK, This Garden Spider (Araneus diadematus) lives in my garden, rather than in my house.
Note that it has a tiny claw at the end of each leg, through which it hangs on to it's web.

Macro Garden Bumblebee Hommel
Bumblebee on a Pieris Japonica.
